Shipzo (the ShipStack deployment platform at shipzo.tech) is a free beta run by a student team at MIT ADT University, Pune, as part of a project-based learning course. It is provided as-is, without any guarantee of uptime or data retention.
Terms of use
- You must be at least 13 years old, and you are responsible for the code and content you deploy.
- Do not use Shipzo for anything illegal, for phishing or impersonation, malware, spam, cryptocurrency mining, attacking other systems, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- We may stop, remove or limit any project or account that breaks these rules or harms the service, without notice.
- Free beta limits apply (currently 3 projects per account and fixed memory/CPU per plan). Limits can change.
- The service may be interrupted, reset or shut down at any time. Keep your own copy of your code; Shipzo is not a backup.
- No paid plans are active during the beta. You will never be charged without signing up for a paid plan yourself.
What data we collect
- Account: your name, email address and a scrypt hash of your password (we never store your password itself).
- Projects: the repository URL or uploaded files, environment variables and settings you enter, build logs, and the apps you deploy.
- Operational data: uptime checks, response times, resource usage of your apps, and standard server logs including IP addresses, kept for security and debugging.
- One cookie (
ss_session) keeps you logged in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- Only to run the service: build and host your projects, show you their status, keep the platform secure, and contact you about your account if needed.
- We do not sell or share your data. Git tokens and environment-variable values are masked in all logs.
- Data is stored on a server in Microsoft Azure's Central India region. HTTPS certificates are issued by Let's Encrypt; DNS is served by Cloudflare.
Your choices
- You can delete any project from its Settings page; its containers, images, releases and logs are removed.
- To delete your account or get a copy of your data, contact the team through the GitHub profile linked on the home page.
